We are seeking an experienced and reliable Marine Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of marine engines, propulsion systems, and associated onboard mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair marine engines and propulsion systems
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and carry out repairs
• Install and commission marine engineering systems and components
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensure all work complies with marine safety and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Support vessel refits, upgrades, and modifications
• Respond to breakdowns and provide technical support when required

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Marine Engineer or in a similar marine engineering role
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with inboard and outboard engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary equipment
• Relevant engineering or marine qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent preferred)
• Good understanding of marine safety standards and compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
